CANDLES - as additives to candles MYTOL MICROWAX (SOFT)    will normally reduce the size of the crystal structure of the    base paraffin and make the candle more opaque.

  CASTING WAX FOR METALS MYTOL MICROWAX (SOFT) can    be used in pattern waxes for precisions castings of metal    parts. The addition of plastic wax decreases the crystalinity a    filled or unfilled casting wax and reduces the amount of    shrinkage of the casting wax from the metal surface.

  COSMETICS Anhydrous systems such as lipsticks and    deodorant sticks can be improved by additions to MYTOL    MICROWAX (SOFT). Their low melting point and flexible    properties impart emolliency as well as dimensional stability    to  solid sticks. Emulsions, creams and lotion also exhibit    improved emolliency due to the addtion of plastic waxes.

 ELECTRICAL INSULATING AGENTS MYTOL MICROWAX (SOFT)   can be coated for printed circuit boards, provide better moisture   barrier and requires less cure time. Addition of MYTOL   MICROWAX  (SOFT) can modify potting compound. This will help   in preventing  premature softening of the compound.

 LAMINATING ADHESIVES Plastic waxes meet with the   requirement of the packaging industries where they are widely   used as functional laminating adhesives. It has excellent   flexibility  at low temperature. It is compatible with hydrocarbon   resins polyisobutylene and butyl rubber. Thus it can be   compounded to  meet specific requirements. They readily wet   paper, film and foil  substractes.

 RUBBER COMPOUND As an additive of sun check waxes, the   more highly branched plastic waxes provide a controlled   migration  to the surface of rubber and rubber related products.
